Abiding in Christ
Abiding in Christ means remaining fixed, stable, and enduring without yielding in our devotion to Him and His purposes. We can abide in Christ by taking upon ourselves His yoke through the covenants and ordinances of the restored gospel, praying sincerely, feasting upon His words, preparing for and worthily partaking of the sacrament, and serving God's children.
We abide in Christ as we are firm and steadfast in our devotion to the Redeemer and His holy purposes, in times both good and bad.
We abide in Him by striving continually to strengthen our individual covenant bond with the Father and the Son.

Christ Abiding in Us
Christ can indeed abide in us individually and personally. This is possible when we plant the word—His life, mission, and doctrine—in our hearts and nourish it by faith. As we do so, we become more like Him and His truths become a part of us.
The seed we should strive to plant in our hearts is the word—even the life, mission, and doctrine of Jesus Christ. And as the word is nourished by faith, it can become a tree springing up in us unto everlasting life.

Walking with Christ involves obeying God's commandments and remembering and honoring our sacred covenants. As we do so, we can experience power, guidance, protection, and peace.
Walking in and with the Savior highlights two vital aspects of discipleship: (1) obeying God’s commandments, and (2) remembering and honoring the sacred covenants that connect us to the Father and the Son.

The Savior's Invitation and Promise
The Savior extends an invitation to all people to repent and come unto Him. He promises to receive all who come unto Him and partake of the fruit of the tree of life. The promises of the gospel apply specifically to each of us in our individual lives and circumstances.
He yearns to bless with His grace and mercy every single person who now lives, who has ever lived, and who will yet live upon the earth.
I promise that by the power of the Holy Ghost, you can know and feel the gospel truths I have attempted to describe are for you—for you individually and personally.
