Achieve Spiritual Wholeness Through Faith
President Johnson teaches that spiritual wholeness is achieved through faith in Jesus Christ, even when physical and emotional healing is not immediate. She explains that wholeness comes from exercising agency to follow Christ, submitting our hearts to Him, keeping His commandments, and entering a covenant relationship with Him.
We are whole in Jesus Christ when we exercise our agency to follow Him in faith, submit our hearts to Him so He can change them, keep His commandments, and enter a covenant relationship with Him.
Faith in Jesus Christ begets hope. I find hope in striving to be whole—a wholeness born of faith in Jesus Christ.

Recognize the Power of Conversion
Conversion to Jesus Christ is likened to having a lamp full of oil, as illustrated in the parable of the ten virgins. President Johnson emphasizes the importance of being spiritually prepared and having the oil of conversion, which enables us to be ready for the Savior's coming and to shine our light to others.
To be whole means to be complete and full. Much like the five wise virgins who had their lamps full with oil when the bridegroom came, we can be whole in Jesus Christ as we fill our lamps with the nourishing oil of conversion to Him.
When we make and keep covenants, particularly those available in the house of the Lord, we fill our lamps with the oil of conversion.

Paul’s example suggests that even in our weakness, our strength in Jesus Christ can be made perfect—that is, complete and whole.
For when I am weak, then am I strong.

Let Your Light Shine
The talk encourages members to let their light shine before others, sharing the light of Christ and glorifying God. President Johnson highlights the importance of being a light to the world, as commanded by the Savior, and how this act of sharing deepens our conversion and brings relief to others.
We are commanded to share His light. So keep your lamp full of the oil of conversion to Jesus Christ and be prepared to keep your lamp trimmed and burning bright. Then let that light shine.

Sisters and brothers, the answer is yes, we can be spiritually whole, even while we wait for physical and emotional healing.
